New Orleans, LA January 15 - 18, 2011

What an amazing city!! There is a lot to see here. It is the most diverse and interesting city we have visited. We stayed in a hotel right in the French Quarter which was a neat experience. We have been able to walk to most places we have gone. Bourbon Street was amazing. We walked down there on Saturday night and it was crowded and people were partying everywhere. There were people on the balconies throwing beads and the boys were excited to both get beads. Steve and I ate at an outdoor restaurant where they had a jazz band playing. It was a lot of fun!! Today we walked over to the Mississippi River and walked along watching all the boats come in and out. That was fun!! Our hotel has a view of the river so we can sit and watch the river traffic. It's great!!

  1. I am so super jealous! I am still plotting out our North-East states adventure that James and I are some day going to do, so I need pointers from you on how to do a weeks-long (or months-long) adventure. :D
